Annie Hazlehurst, Co-Founder & Chairperson

Annie co-founded KnowledgeBeat after volunteering in Ngoma in 2003 and discovering a passion for Africa, education and development. She is an Associate at Draper Fisher Jurvetson where she focuses on early stage clean technology investments and emerging markets opportunities. Previously, she worked with Mubadala Development Company in Abu Dhabi on Energy and Materials investments. She began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Financial Sponsors Group in San Francisco. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a B.S. in Biotechnology, and holds an MS in Environment and Resources from Stanford and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
