Lisa Dewey-Mattia, Advancement Coordinator
Lisa’s focus is on creating a long-term development plan for KnowledgeBeat and assisting with fundraising and nonprofit administration support. She has several years of experience in the development departments of nonprofits, including as the Director of Development and Outreach at the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy. Lisa graduated from Brown University in 2003 with a BA in History, focusing on 20th century comparative genocide. In May 2010, she received her Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the Bloustein School at Rutgers, where she studied environmental policy and planning. She is currently a Leadership Fellow at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Her passion for environmental policy and education, human rights issues and nonprofit organizations inspire her to work for KnowledgeBeat.
